My Process
My Process
This process is designed to give you (and us) a framework for making an educated and informed decision about working together. Of equal importance, you will finish this process knowing exactly where you stand in the four key areas of retirement success.
There is no cost or obligation for this process as I want you to know exactly how you can benefit before you pay a single dollar in fees or trust Scanlon Wealth Management with a penny of your nest egg.
Step 1 - Initial Phone Meeting
Before committing your time or mine, this 15-minute phone call will give us both a chance to make sure your situation matches my expertise.
Step 2 – First Meeting
The goal of this meeting is to get to know you, understand your goals, concerns and unique financial situation.
Your questions and answers will guide our analysis, which will result in plain-English answers to four critical questions.
Step 3 - Analysis
I will apply decades of experience, thousands of hours of training and mentoring by the industry’s top experts to answer the following questions:
Can you afford to retire?
Are you overpaying your taxes?
Can your portfolio be improved?
Can you eliminate, or at least reduce threats to your retirement?
Step 4 - Second Office Meeting
During this meeting I will explain, in plain-English, exactly what you need to do to achieve your financial goals, including the answers to the four questions we asked during our analysis.
This is where you will see, in dollars and cents, how my firm can improve your finances.
At the end of this meeting I will ask if you would like to begin working with my firm or if you would like to sleep on it.
Step 5 - Sleep On It
Having been in business for more than 25 years, I am in no rush for you to make a decision. Prior to deciding whether we should work together, you will want to answer the following questions:
Do I like/trust/respect the team at Scanlon Wealth Management?
Will the benefits they provide exceed their cost?
Do I understand and agree with the investment philosophy?
Do their recommendations make sense to me?
Step 6 - Third Meeting/Paperwork
During this meeting we will answer any questions you have and if you are ready, start the paperwork to become a client.
While I would love to work with you, if you decide that it’s not a good fit I will wish you all the best and every success. In other words, there is never a hard-sell or pressure to say yes.
